  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Loyola University Chicago forms a strong foundation for her coaching practice, equipping her with advanced skills in interpersonal communication, active listening, and message clarity—all essential components of effective coaching.

  • Certified Professional Coach, through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), completing their rigorous 10-month intensive training program

  • Energy Leadership Certification, allowing me to help clients recognize and shift energy patterns that impact their effectiveness and fulfillment

  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification (forthcoming), demonstrating my adherence to the highest global standards in coaching ethics and methodology

My Story

“Just strike a few matches and see what catches fire.”

That’s what my dad always told me — and I’ve carried those words with me through every chapter of my life.

Originally from Ohio, I started out in the service industry after high school, knowing traditional college wasn't my path—at least not yet. I followed my instincts and struck my first match by enrolling in cosmetology school. It was a natural step, rooted in my love for doing hair and makeup for school productions and dances. I enjoyed my time as a hairstylist, but eventually, I felt the pull to strike another match: higher education.

In 2017, I began my college journey, and by 2020 — right when the world turned upside down — I had earned my Associate’s degree and moved to Chicago, a city that had always called to me. I kept the momentum going and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor's in Communication and Political Science. I stepped into the world of public relations soon after, living and working in the city — but like some of my previous ventures, that match just didn’t catch.

After burning out at an agency job, I had a revelation: I wasn’t meant to pour my energy into helping massive corporations grow their influence. I was meant to help people grow into themselves.

So, I turned inward. I took inventory of my gifts — deep empathy, emotional intelligence, and an unwavering desire to support others. And I struck what might be my brightest match yet: pursuing my certification in professional coaching.

Why Fire Child Coaching?

Growing up as one of four siblings, I was always known as “the fiery child.” My emotions burned hot — excitement, frustration, sadness — everything was felt deeply, expressed fully. It wasn’t just a nickname. It was a truth I had to grow into, wrestle with, and ultimately embrace.

Over time, that fire became more than a personality trait. It became a compass. A reminder that I am passionate, bold, and alive — and that I thrive when I live in alignment with my truth.

Through my personal journey of self-discovery, emotional growth, and striking match after match that didn’t quite light, I made a conscious decision: to stop dimming my flame and start honoring it. To build a life lit by my own values, voice, and power — and to help others do the same.

That’s how Fire Child Coaching was born.
